A hot flush coping kit you can keep in your bag.

A small handheld fan. The cheap battery-powered ones are perfect. Direct airflow shortens a flush considerably.

A facial mist with menthol. The cooling sensation is more useful than the actual temperature drop.

A spare top in breathable fabric — linen, modal, bamboo. Synthetics make everything worse.

A wrist cooler — a thin cloth you can dampen. Cooling the inner wrists drops your core temperature surprisingly fast.

A small chocolate or boiled sweet. Flushes often follow a blood-sugar dip; this catches it.

A short phrase you've rehearsed. 'Give me a moment, I'm fine.' Saves you from explaining and lets you focus on settling.
